PIPENET Vision® 1.7 is    the latest version of PIPENET, on release from the end of April 2014.

PIPENET Vision® 1.7    includes many new features. The range of built-in valve models in the Transient module    has been enhanced to save engineers’ time and optimize choice. In the Standard module PIPENET’S heat transfer capability has    been given a whole new dimension. Allowing heat transfer to the atmosphere    for water along pipes; taking into account not only the geometry and    ambient conditions, but also the pipe material and any insulation that may    be present. The Spray/Sprinklermodule has    an enhanced report output following the release of NFPA13 2013.

PIPENET Vision® MODULES

Each of the three modules of PIPENET has been expertly developed for a different range of    applications, taking input from our customers. The result is the three    world leading modules of PIPENET. Each is independent, so PIPENETmodules can be licensed separately or in any combination.

PIPENET Spray/Sprinkler    Module is specifically intended for the design of fire protection    systems using water. Complying with the NFPA13, NFPA15 and NFPA16 rules,PIPENET Spray/Sprinkler Module can be used for a wide range of designs including design of    sprinkler systems, deluge systems, ringmain systems, and foam solution    systems.

PIPENET Transient    Module is for modeling unsteady state events, such as water hammer    and steam hammer as well as the priming of deluge system. PIPENET Transient Module can calculate the resulting hydraulic transient forces in    addition to modeling control systems extensively. The force-time history    can then be input automatically to a pipe stress analysis program.

PIPENET Standard    Module is a general purpose module which can deal with compressible    as well as incompressible flow and has a number of applications such as    air, water, steam utility systems design, and ventilation (HVAC) systems    design.
