Instrument signal vs piping connector blocks are very similar with the main variation being the word ‘Signal’ shown on the Instrument connector.   It is recommended that the connector block be changed somewhat so that it is immediately obvious to the eye of the user that an instrument signal is depicted rather than depending on the word to convey the information.   Use of symbology speeds the information conveyance and minimizes confusion.
