Component Type
You can use this sheet to specify all types of components by selecting the appropriate component type:
Conventional: Typical components which may participate in vapor-liquid phase equilibrium.
Solid: Conventional solids with properties calculated by solid models.
Nonconventional: Nonconventional solids which are not represented as molecular components, such as coal or wood pulp. They are characterized using component attributes and do not participate in chemical or phase equilibrium.
Pseudocomponent, Assay, and Blend: Components representing petroleum fractions, characterized by boiling point, molecular weight, specific gravity, and other properties.
