Open Excel then go to File, Options, Add-Ins.   If I remember correctly, it was the
two COM add-ins that were causing the problems, so at the bottom of the "View and
Manage Microsoft Add-Ins" page select COM Add-Ins and click "Go."   Select the
ASPEN add-ins that show up and tell excel to remove them.
Finally, restart your computer and open Excel back up.   I have not had a recurrance
of the problem since I removed the add-ins so hopefully everything will work for you
now too.   Good luck!
