Description

Process Modeling (Aspen Plus) V7.2 Patch 1 November 2010 - PRO/II to Aspen Plus converter

This Patch updates the PRO/II to Aspen Plus converter.

You can not uninstall this Patch. To remove the Patch you must uninstall the product and re-install. To remove files shared by multiple products you must uninstall all products which share the files.

This Cumulative Patch has been tested to ensure that it fixes the specific issues mentioned herein, and has not had an adverse effect on any closely related functionality. However, it has not been through our full Quality Assurance procedure.

Before Download

1. Make sure that no AspenTech applications are running.

2. Ensure that Aspen Plus V7.2 is installed. This hot fix will not have any effect on earlier releases.

3. Return any commuted license to the SLM server (i.e uncommute any commuted license key). Failing to do so, the commuted license key may be corrupted. In that case, the license then can NOT be used anymore locally but also can't be returned to the server for other users.
Commuting licenses, un-commuting licenses and installing a cumulative hotfix must be done with full local administrator rights. To check whether you are using commuted license keys, start the utility "SLM Commute" from Start, Programs, AspenTech, Common Utilities. If this tool is not installed on your computer, most likely you have no commuted licenses. If you suspect someone may have uninstalled the SLM tools from your computer after commuting licenses, you can install the SLM Commute utility from the Admin DVD (install SLM Client).

Installation Instructions

Select the ProcessModeling(Aspen Plus)V7.2_Patch1.exe link above.

Note that there is no specific message to indicate the hot fix has been applied successfully.

After Installation

To check whether this Patch has been installed, check the version number and dates of the files modified.

The version number for Aspen Plus is not updated.

aspen是不是现在很少出补丁了，而是直接更新版本了
