In HYSYS V8, the Properties Environment navigation pane replaces the pre-V8 Basis Environment. The Properties Environment sets up all of the component, property and reaction packages used in the simulation. To enter the Properties Environment click Properties on the main navigation pane. You can then use the navigation pane to work through the simulation properties setup - Components Lists, Fluid packages, etc. To enter the Simulation Environment click Simulation on the main navigation pane. You can then use the Simulation navigation pane to work through the simulation setup - The Simulation Environment is used to create the streams, unit operations, heating and cooling sources and topology that comprise the simulation flowsheet. |
