【作品展播】2023年海克斯康全球精英奖大赛中海油石化工程有限公司-优秀三维设计奖

中海油石化工程有限公司在2023年度海克斯康全球精英奖大赛中披荆斩棘，荣获了精英奖大赛三维设计类-优秀三维设计奖！在此祝贺中海油石化工程有限公司，同时也感谢海油石化工程在工程领域中做出的努力和成绩。

中海油石化工程有限公司（以下简称“海油石化工程”）为中国海洋石油集团有限公司（以下简称“中国海油”）下属中海石油炼化有限责任公司的全资子公司，注册资本6亿元。是具有工程建设项目全过程承包和管理功能的大型工程公司，主营业务包括工程设计、工程总承包、技术咨询、技术服务、工程造价咨询、质量监督等，具有国际工程咨询、工程设计及工程承包经营权。

The unit is located in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada and is owned by CNOOC Petroleum North America Inc. (acquired from the former NEXEN Corporation). The project will be made from oil sands with a processing capacity of 72,000 BBL/d to produce dilbit（bitumen） products through the process operation of the upgrader. Based on the original facilities, this project mainly carried out a series of transformation of OrCrude unit and SRU unit to achieve the purpose of restart.

The Orcrude unit is 197 meters long from east to west and 181 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of 35657㎡. The unit mainly includes the Atmospheric Distillation and Vacuum Distillation Unit (ADU+VDU), Solvent De-asphalting Unit (SDA), Thermal Cracking Unit (TCU).

CNOOC Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (CPEL) carried out the engineering design, and CNOOC Petroleum North America Company (CPNA)was responsible for the construction and industrial application of the device. The project realized the independent design and construction of the whole process of CNOOC.

This project adopts Intergraph Smart 3D software for modeling, which can continue to model new equipment and pipelines on the original model, and also modify the original facilities, which can improve the efficiency of design modeling and design quality. At the same time, S3DCatalogDataExtractor was used to modify and update the missing or errors of the existing database, and the GDS3DToolkit  which independently developed by CPEL was used for  MTO and batch input of pipeline data, which greatly improved the work efficiency.

Through the use of Hexagon solutions, the efficiency and quality of modeling was improved, 1760 man-hours were saved, the project duration was shortened by 2 months, the accuracy of modeling was improved, the procurement and construction were greatly facilitated, and customer satisfaction was improved.

The successful completion of the project facilitated the successful restart of the Long Lake Upgrader and further expanded the dilbit processing capacity. It has increased the diversity of energy utilization and laid a solid foundation for our company to further develop overseas markets.

By using Smart 3D and S3DCatalogDataExtractor tools to transform and optimize the existing model and database, it avoided the problems of low efficiency of piping design, inaccurate data and time-consuming labor caused by field measurement, and avoided the procurement and construction problems caused by material errors caused by inaccurate database.
